It also outlines your rights under global privacy laws and how to exercise them.

A. Personal Identifiable Information (PII)

  • Full name
  • Date of birth

  • Subscriptions
  • App specific settings (Notifications, Preferences etc.)

B. Health and Wellness Data

  • Heart rate, blood oxygen, blood pressure, temperature
  • Sleep patterns, steps, activity levels, calories burned
  • Menstrual health, hydration, dietary logs (if tracked)
  • Custom user-entered health notes (if applicable)
  • Health metrics, workout logs, and manually entered health data. 
  • Environmental metrics such as temperature and oxygen levels, where applicable. 

C. Device and Usage Data

2. How We Collect Data

  • Via integrations: Through Apple HealthKit, Fitbit, Garmin, Google Fit, Samsung Health, etc., with your explicit consent

  • Sync, display, and analyze your wearable data
  • Improve app functionality and user experience
  • Send usage alerts, feature updates, and support

We do not sell your data under any circumstances.

4. Platform-Specific Data Practices

Apple HealthKit

We access HealthKit data only with your consent, and only to provide health features. We do not use HealthKit data for advertising, profiling, or marketing purposes.

Garmin Health

Data from Garmin is accessed securely via the Garmin Health API with your authorization. We only use this data for features you’ve enabled and do not share Garmin data with any third parties without your consent.

Fitbit

Fitbit data is collected using secure OAuth2 authorization. You may revoke access at any time. We retain only the data required to deliver features and delete it upon request.

Google Fit / Samsung Health

If you connect Google Fit or Samsung Health, we access data via secure APIs and only after you’ve explicitly permitted it. You may manage or revoke these permissions through platform settings.

We process your data based on:

We use enterprise-grade security via AWS or Azure and robust security measures to safeguard your personal dataincluding:

– End-to-end encryption:

  • All data is encrypted both in transit (TLS 1.2+) and at rest (AES-256 encryption). 
  • Sensitive health data is stored using end-to-end encryption where applicable. 

– Role-based access control (if required it is enabled with below mentioned protocol)

  • Multi-factor authentication (MFA) for authorized access. 
  • Role-based access control (RBAC) limiting personnel access to necessary data only. 

– Retention Policy: 

  • Personal data is retained only for as long as necessary to provide services or comply with legal obligations. 
  • Users can request deletion of their data at any time, subject to regulatory constraints.

11. Children’s Privacy

Children’s Privacy Our services are not intended for children under the age of 16 without parental or guardian consent. We comply with global regulations such as the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR-K) regarding children’s data. 

– Parental Consent: 

  • We do not knowingly collect, process, or store personal data of children under 16 without verified parental or guardian consent. 
  • Parents or guardians may review, manage, or delete their child’s data by contacting us at contact@laviecura.com. 

– Restricted Features for Minors: 

  • Certain features related to data sharing, marketing, and analytics may be restricted for users under 16. 
  • Personalized tracking and recommendations will be limited unless authorized by a parent or guardian. 

– Data Protection for Minors: 

  • Any collected data from minors will be securely stored and used only for essential services. 
  • We do not use children’s data for targeted advertising or behavioral tracking.

These entities operate under strict confidentiality agreements and are only granted access to the data necessary to perform their duties on our behalf.

Users can manage cookie preferences through their device or browser settings. We do not use cookies for unauthorized tracking or third-party advertising.

As a globally available service, Vie Global LLC may store and process your data across different countries.

We take all reasonable steps to ensure that data transferred internationally is handled in accordance with applicable privacy laws and that adequate safeguards, such as Standard Contractual Clauses, are in place.
